Nesrine applies a tourniquet above Besse's wound in the leg. A well applied tourniquet will stop the arterial flow down the leg and would make it impossible for Besse to walk for more than a few minutes. A badly applied tourniquet (not enough pressure) will do nothing. Nesrine should have applied pressure (with his belt) directly over the wound.
