This introduces Duncan MacLeod as the second member of the Clan MacLeod to be an immortal, appearing later in Highlander: Endgame (2000) and Highlander: The Source (2007), being preceded by Connor MacLeod in Highlander - L'ultimo immortale (1986). Eventually he was succeeded by Quentin MacLeod in Highlander: The Animated Series (1994) and Colin MacLeod in Highlander - Vendetta immortale (2007).
