Young vet Mads (Jonathan groff) is an amputee firstly see Mads sitting on a chair at mechanic's office then walking to meet Chris, then he shows he's an amputee. The way Groff portrayed the character is inconsistent of a veteran with a prosthetic leg throughout the scene including crouching down to tell Chris's son Colton about his father's heroism. Any person with a prosthetic leg does not sit down where their leg is not straight, walking is simply like a sprained foot, can never crouch down Not unless it is a high tech prosthetic leg with movable joints
