Morticia's man-eating plant is named Cleopatra and is stated to be an African Strangler. Morticia feeds it meat, including hamburger, zebra, and yak; thus, it is carnivorous. The closest actual plant would be the African Strangler Fig, though it is not carnivorous. It gets its name from its tendency to strangle the trees it grows around.
