As of 2020, Jim Carrey is the only actor (male or female) to win the Golden Globe for Best Actor in both the drama and comedy/musical categories without being nominated for an Academy Award. Carrey won the Golden Globe for both Best Actor (Drama) and Best Actor (Comedy/Musical) for The Truman Show (1998) and Man on the Moon (1999) respectively.
