The Nakatomi Plaza's vault is supposed to hold, among other pieces of art, the Edgar Degas painting "Ecole de danse" (1873) (as shown when the thieves finally break the last lock). In reality, this painting is owned by Corcoran Museum of Arts in Washington, D.C.
