When James T. Kirk asks (Prime) Spock how does he know his name, Spock responds with "I have been, and always shall be your friend" - this is what Spock said to Admiral Kirk just before he died in Star Trek II - L'ira di Khan (1982), and again when Spock began to regain his memory after being resurrected in Star Trek III - Alla ricerca di Spock (1984).
