After Jon murders Rorschach to preserve the so-called world peace, Daniel and Laurie leave the ruined Karnak facility of Adrien Veidt's in Archie and clearly playing in the background is a piece from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem Mass. In the HBO Watchmen (2019) miniseries, the scenes with The Master frequently use classical orchestral pieces as background music, and the most prominent of them is a different selection from the same Mozart Requiem.
