The New Erotic Adventures of Casanova (1977) must have been running a little long so the remaining unused scenes were saved for Casanova II. The latter would have needed padding so new scenes dealing with Don Juan (directed by Carlos Tobalina) were added. A scene with Mary Grant in a television commercial (originally for Casanova I) was bumped for new footage with William Margold et al. as newscasters who introduce archive footage from older adult films (again to add to the running time). Also in Casanova II are brief recap scenes from Casanova I.
