There are 69 alien mythology episodes in the series. Season eight has the biggest amount, with ten of them coming from there. Only two episodes in season eight involving Mulder didn't focus on the mythology arc. There are also other episodes about extraterrestrials and alien abductions unrelated to the arc, such as X-Files: Conduit (1993) and X-Files: Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (1995).
