Noa Rotstein, Dalena Le and Udi Razzin reprise their basic roles from the short predecessor alternative A Summer Rain (2009) also by Ela Thier, whereby Dalena Le's character is named Hoa instead of Thuy Le. Thier also makes an appearance in the original.
