When Major Briggs is found after being kidnapped by Windom Earle, he shows psychotic symptoms apparently due to the effect of the injection made to him by Earle. It is said that this injection has been of Haloperidol, while in reality Haloperidol is given to psychotic patients to reduce their psychotic symptoms.
