In addition to being a popular phrase used to inspire hope and comfort, Judy Hopps's self-consoling line, "Tomorrow is another day," can be seen as a reference to the title of a major song from an earlier Walt Disney animated film, Le avventure di Bianca e Bernie (1977), in which unlikely animal heroes also work together to investigate and solve a crime while facing menacing predators.
