Kane Hodder auditioned to play Freddy Krueger. He would of course later play Jason Voorhees in the "Friday the 13th" series and would briefly play Freddy's arm and did his laugh at the end of Jason va all'inferno (1993) that sets up Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
