Continuing the connections between Pappa e ciccia (1988) and The Big Bang Theory, (Johnny Galecki, Laurie Metcalf and Sara Gilbert), is Meagen Fay. Meagen Fay's claim to fame was playing Kathy Bowman for two seasons on Pappa e ciccia (1988), playing Barr's snooty next-door neighbor. Fay also played Kaley Cuoco's mother in the movie Kaley Cuoco produced, Authors Anonymous (2014), besides playing Bernadette Rostenkowski's mother on The Big Bang Theory.
