At one point in the movie, Falcone refers to the Batman as "Zorro." In many versions of Batman's origins, the Wayne family was leaving a theater showing of Zorro when they were murdered. Zorro was acknowledged by Bob Kane and Bill Finger as one of the main influences for Batman.
