Louise Fletcher won her Oscar for her role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The cast of that film included Jack Nicholson, Scatman Crothers, and Brad Dourif. Nicholson and Crothers later appeared together in The Shining, and Dourif appeared in Graveyard Shift. Flether's Oscar was for playing a sadistic nurse. Kathy Bates won an Oscar for playing a sadistic nurse in Misery. All were based on Stephen King novels.
