The SEG (Screen Extras Guild) protested with an ''informational picket'' line at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles during production according to an article published in the 25th March 1983 issue of show-business trade-paper 'Daily Variety'. The production agreed to employ members of this actors' guild through a San Francisco Casting agency during later location filming in Northern California according to an article published in show-business trade-paper 'The Hollywood Reporter'.
