With the release of this movie, this makes Pierce Brosnan one of two James Bonds who own a whole decade to himself. In the 60s, Sir Sean Connery had to share with George Lazenby. In the 70s, Connery shared with Sir Roger Moore. Moore shared the 80s with Timothy Dalton. Pierce Brosnan shared the 2000s with Daniel Craig, and Craig owns the 2010s. Even though Dalton didn't resign from the role until 1994, all of the Bond movies from the 90s starred Pierce as Bond.
