(at around 2h 15 mins) Jetfire asks Optimus Prime to take his parts, saying he will have "a power you've never known," and upon doing so, Optimus has the ability to fly. In Transformers (1984), most of the Autobots did not have the ability of flight (and in this film, Optimus becomes the first movie Autobot to do so).
