The prime time "Hallmark Hall of Fame" broadcast special on Sunday night at 8:00p.m., February 9, 1958, "Hans Brinker and The Silver Skates" - bumped the normally scheduled NBC Sunday night variety show, "The Steve Allen Show," which was also in the same 8:00-9:00 p.m. time slot as the B&W CBS TV Sunday night variety series, "The Ed Sullivan Show" (8:00-9:00 p.m.), and B&W ABC TV's "Maverick" (7:30-8:30 p.m.) and "The Lawman" (8:30-9:00 p.m.). NBC TV's audience viewing ratings swept the night's television ratings points sweep week numbers.
