(at around 1h 14 mins) Hannibal Lecter draws Clarice and her lamb with Coffindaffer's Crosses (The Three Wooden Crosses) in the background alluding to her WV roots. the first set was erected just outside of Craigsville in Nicholas County in the early '80s. The three wooden crosses can now be found all over the region. They can be found nestled along the mountainsides and along the interstates. Bernard Coffindaffer began erecting these sets of crosses following a vision he had after having a heart bypass surgery in the early '80s. He said the Holy Spirit appeared to him and told him to build the crosses and to spread the message of God as an evangelist.
