This was the final project created and produced by the original Hanna-Barbera Cartoons before Warner Bros. Animation took over the rights to its franchise trademark contents and characters in 2001. One more last project was Jonny Quest Versus the Cyber Insects (1995), was held before the direct-to-video movies began starting with Scooby-Doo: l'isola degli zombie (1998) and Cartoon Network premiered the television movie Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip (1999). Cyber Insects was released eight months after Arabian Nights, working on the direct-to-video movies had begun.
