A scene was pitched that would feature cameos from Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland, all playing their versions of Spider-Man from the Raimi, Webb, and MCU universes. However, this idea was scrapped. Eventually, Maguire, Garfield, and Holland would go on to star alongside one another as their respective versions of the character, with Holland's version leading, in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Furthermore, this film was partially the inspiration for Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
