Despite a long and storied music career, the song Shakedown is Bob Seger's only #1 hit single on the Billboard Hot 100. Glenn Frey was slated to record the song but had to pull out at the last minute when he lost his voice. He recruited his friend Seger as a replacement. Glenn Frey sang "The Heat is On" featured in Beverly Hills Cop - Un piedipiatti a Beverly Hills (1984).
