Reportedly, both this Bond movie and the previous film Spectre (2015) are not based on any original Ian Fleming James Bond story. However, 'No Time to Die' (2021) features some story elements from 'Dr No', 'You Only Live Twice' and 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'. The opening title sequence from 'Spectre' was inspired by 'Live and Let Die' whilst 'Spectre' also featured story elements from both 'Octopussy' (the name Oberhauser) and 'The Hildebrand Rarity' (for the Hildebrand Safe House).
