This sequel was made 17 years after the original movie Geremia, cane e spia (1959) and is the continuing the story of Wilby Daniels turning into a dog when the inscription on the ancient ring is read. However, Dean Jones playing Wilby in the sequel is 10 years older than Tommy Kirk who played Wilby in the original movie.
