As part of the film's marketing bonanza, nine photographers were given free rein to cover the production for the coffee table book "Annie on Camera." Neal Slavin shot a giant portrait of the cast and crew; Stephen Shore captured the streets; Garry Winogrand shot exclusively in black-and-white; Mitch Epstein eyed the extras; William Eggleston shot lightswitches, doors, and mansion décor; Jane O'Neal, Joel Meyerowitz, and Robert Walker captured epic behind-the-scenes imagery; and Eric Staller utilized filters and exposure techniques to conjure artistic masterpieces. Unfortunately, the book is poorly laid out, and a huge chunk of the images are from a deleted portion of "Let's Go the Movies," as well as the original version of "Easy Street," which was later reshot.
