According to Chuck Wendig's Star Wars "Aftermath" book trilogy, General Hux should be about ten years older than Kylo Ren, a.k.a. Ben Solo. Both actors are the same age, but playing their respective character's ages on-screen. The ages are never mentioned on any film.
