Strangely enough, every single member of the US military in the film appears to be a Special Operations Forces member, aside from Colonel Flag. Lieutenant Edwards's SEALs, the 160th SOAR helicopter crewmen, and even the background "infantry" soldiers wear the insignia of either the 75th Ranger Regiment or Special Forces.
