There are some hint of the twist before it happens; when Pim and Ploy are young, Ploy is the one on the left and Pim the one on the right; in the scene where Pim is lying down on the bed with Wee and the ghost of Play appears is on the right side; in the subway scene, Pim is sitting on the left side, staring scared at the empty sit on the right side, revealing that Pim has been Ploy all along.
