Largely since the series was in its prime during its first five seasons (1975-1980) and is considered a big sensation of the 1970s. It has since had a big titular confusion with the musical film, La febbre del sabato sera (1977) (which was also a sensation at the time of release). For connections: there was once "Samurai Night Fever" skit, parodying of the film. Denny Dillon appeared in 'Fever' and was a regular cast member on this show. Other 'Fever' cast members, John Travolta, Karen Lynn Gorney and Fran Drescher have all appeared on this show at least once.
