Leland Orser makes an uncredited cameo as the cephalapoid alien disguised as human who runs through New York City pursued by Will Smith's character James Edwards. It reunites Orser with Smith after Independence Day (1996), where Orser played "Techy/Med Asst #1", one of the forensic technicians who performs the autopsy of the alien captured by Will Smith's character Capt. Steven Hiller. However, Orser and Smith didn't share a scene in the movie.
