One of the show's executive producers is comic book writer Geoff Johns. Johns grew up reading Marv Wolfman and George Pérez's groundbreaking "The New Teen Titans" comics in the 80's and along with Mike McKone re-launched the "Teen Titans" comic in 2003 and wrote it for 4 years.
