During the first season of the show, the lyrics to the opening song (right after Eddie Albert sang "You are my wife" and Eva Gabor sang, "Goodbye, city life!") the song ended with them singing in unison, "Green Acres, here we come!" In subsequent seasons, the song's last line was changed to, "Green Acres, we are there!"
