T.J. Miller's 'Weasel' was not approached to return in this film, following accusations of sexual misconduct during his college years directed at him in 2017, an incident involving a fake bomb threat in 2018, as well as allegations of bullying behavior on the set of Silicon Valley (2014). Disney execs referred to these accusations as "troubling". During a podcast interview, Miller himself said that he didn't want to be in the film anyway, even if he were asked and paid twice as much, stating that Ryan Reynolds had been "horrifically mean" to him on the set of Deadpool 2 (2018). However, he later stated that they made up after Reynolds had contacted him, and that his accusations targeted at Reynolds had been "misconstrued".
