The Justice League crossover episode, Static Shock: A League of Their Own: Part 1 (2003), began with a teaser cold opening which was pushed for by story editor John Semper. This type of opening was used again later for the episodes Static Shock: Toys in the Hood (2003) and Static Shock: Blast from the Past (2003).
