The deal Lewis made with the Devil granted him immortality and great wealth in exchange for selling the cursed antiques. He broke the deal and forfeited his soul when he had a momentary crisis of conscience and refused to sell the doll to the young girl, Sarah Polley, in Venerdì 13: The Inheritance (1987).
