Sir Sean Connery was known for playing James Bond. After Agente 007 - Si vive solo due volte (1967), he quit the franchise, though he later returned at different stages to make two more Bond movies, one official and one unofficial. Ironically, the next movie in the Bond film franchise after Connery left in the 1960s was Agente 007 - Al servizio segreto di Sua Maestà (1969), which, like this movie, was also filmed in the Swiss Alps, and also had a dramatic romantic storyline.
