Justin Chatwin had to work out for 5 hours a day for several months to prepare for his role. One strict rule was no sugar, bread, or pasta, and Chatwin remembers a humorous encounter he had with Emmy Rossum during filming where he caught her cheating on her diet as she was eating ice cream at a parlor.
