Until the Best Wishes Series, Seviper had been a part of Jessie's party for longer than any other Pokémon, aside from Meowth, Wobbuffet and Ash's Pikachu, having been her main battler throughout all of the Advanced Generation series and the majority of the Diamond and Pearl series.
