According to actor Tye Sheridan the original climax was set at the United Nations in New York City. Cyclops and Professor X head to the U.N. to warn the American president that aliens have invaded earth. But the U.N guards turn out to be Skrulls and attack them. Jean Grey comes down in the front of the U.N. and fights off all of the Skrulls, and then blasts back off into space. She says goodbye to Scott and Charles.
