Iain Armitage (Young Sheldon) is the real life son of actor Euan Morton. Morton plays the voice of the Sith Inquisitor in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011). In The Big Bang Theory: The Weekend Vortex (2012) (season 5, episode 19), Sheldon and the others all stay in Sheldon and Leonard's apartment to play Star Wars "the online game" which can later be seen to be The Old Republic. Sheldon in the show is also an avid Star Wars fan.
