Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face is the only American actor to portray a main villain in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. Liam Neeson (Ra's al Ghul) and Cillian Murphy(Scarecrow) are Irish, Heath Ledger(The Joker) was Australian, Tom Hardy(Bane) is English, and Marion Cotillard(Talia al Ghul) is French. Anne Hathaway plays Catwoman and is American, but she is portrayed mostly as a protagonist in Il cavaliere oscuro - Il ritorno (2012).
