About the time Harvey Korman left the show; they added Tim Conway as a regular, finally, after he had already been making regular appearances for almost a decade at that point. This is surprising to people; because most people think Conway was a regular member of the cast since the beginning because he had done so many guest appearances at that point. But he was only a guest for the first few seasons; not a regular cast member.
