(at around 40 mins) When Peter is trying to get his sunglasses back from Flash on the bus and slaps him and knocks him out, this is most likely a reference to Spider-Man issue #8 where Peter Parker and Flash Thompson had an after-school boxing match. Peter accidentally knocks out Flash with a flick of his wrist because Flash is distracted by the appearance of the Living Brain, but Peter is able to spin it to make people think that Flash is actually Spider-Man.
