In Freak Show, Maggie Esmeralda's (Emma Roberts') death is foreshadowed in season four, episode four, American Horror Story: Edward Mordrake: Part 2 (2014), where Dandy Mott (Finn Wittrock) nearly saws her in half, but fails. In a later episode, she gets sawed in half by Chester (Neil Patrick Harris).
