Scenes originally featured in Pinocchio (1940) involving smoke and cigars, like The Red Lobster Inn, and also the Rough House and Tobacco Row with respectively their Popeye-like speaking animatronic and Native American/Indian Chief animatronics distributing cigars on Pleasure Island were removed, and replaced ordinary beer with root beer and junk food (this latter already present in the original) on said Pleasure Island, now more similar to a more ordinary child amusement or Luna park like Collodi's Land of Toys/Toyland (Paese dei Balocchi), except for the buildings authorized for vandalism and destruction. However, there is a cuckoo clock that briefly shows a drunken man like in the original Pinocchio (1940) and it is not clarified if the root beer contains some alcohol, considering that there is also the alcoholic variant. To be noticed that root beer didn't exist in Italy in 1800s and it is very rare and difficult to find it today, either in Italy and in the rest of Europe.
