Joel Kinnaman's character, Takeshi Kovacs, wakes up inside a physically different biologically enhanced 'sleeve' similar to how his character is effectively 're-sleeved' as Robocop, which has been cybernetically enhanced. Both characters struggle to reconcile their previous identities within their new physical forms.
