In the 2016 film "Die Beautiful," Barbs was played by Christian Bables, who won a Best Supporting Actor award for the role. Shortly before filming started on "Born Beautiful," Christian had to back out and the role was offered to Martin Del Rosario, who was a Best Supporting Actor winner as well for his previous film "Dagitab"
